Newzie is a new kind of software agent--called news aggregator--to monitor, retrieve, and store syndicated information published through XML-based files, namely RSS Feeds, on the Internet.
Moreover, Informative Visualization and letting you build up your Reading Preferences are two of the many dazzling features of Newzie. The program offers a unique, web-style interface with the latests additions, categorized new sections and more.
Newzie features system tray notification (on feed updates), feed statistics, color coding, filtering, search, as well as full OPML support and more. The interface is refreshingly different from other RSS readers, but may take some getting used to.
Newzie is completely freeware and doesn´t involve any kind of spyware behaviour implemented inside. Newzie is free to use for any purpose, including personal and commercial uses.
Muftcrack tested Newzie 0.99.9 Beta on 2010-08-14 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.
