Connectify is an easy to use software router for Windows computers
that utilizes your PC’s built in Wi-Fi card to wirelessly share any
available Internet connection with friends, co-workers, and mobile
devices. Connectify can easily act as your primary router or even a repeater for your home router, extending its range and providing Internet access wherever you need it. Connect to your home network, enter the same Wi-Fi name and password, and hit “Start Hotspot.” Devices will automatically connect to the Internet through either your Connectify hotspot or home router depending on proximity.
Before you know it you can finally have Internet access in that impossible back room or basement. In addition, if you run Connectify away from home with these settings, any devices that need to be bound to a specific network (such as Eye-Fi cards or wireless printers) will work flawlessly with no additional configuration no matter where you are! So forget trying to mess around on the command line with ICS, Virtual Wi-Fi, or Hosted Network, just install Connectify and have a real hotspot up and running in seconds.

Instructions:
- Set your desired Hotspot name and password. PRO users can name their hotspot anything they want while Free users must start with “Connectify-”
- Select which Internet connection you’d like to share. Share your the Internet connection from your Cable or DSL modem, a 3G or 4G modem, even another Wi-Fi network
- Click Start Hotspot, thats it!

New Hotspot Features
New Stealth Mode Feature: Feature-suite to get around pesky networks that try to block Connectify. This is available for all Connectify Hotspot users running Windows 7 and above.
- Avoid Hotel/NAT Restrictions: Workaround for networks that send back every packet with a TTL of 1 to block Connectify and routers from being used.
- Hide from Traceroute: Traffic from clients won’t appear to have gone through an extra hop to get to the upstream network, so the network won’t think there is an extra router on/behind your computer.
- Appear as Single PC (Disabled by default): Mask client traffic’s IP Identifier field to hide amongst other traffic coming from the Connectify host computer. Turning this on may help Connectify to work on more networks that block it, but may also break certain client traffic, such as traceroute and network latency tests in games.
- Restore URL to File Fling dialog on Flings to non-Connectify clients
- Fix access rights on deleted clients
- Better error messages around hosted network failures
- Disabling peer scanning also disables scanning services on Hotspot clients
- IP fragmentation and forwarding issue fixes. Fixes problems with iOS devices watching videos over Hotspot.
